Reviews
We absolutely loved Methodical. It was our first time but we enjoyed some cold brew multiple times during our trip. It may just be the best cold brew we have ever had! We ordered it with honey and milk. We also indulged in a cranberry orange muffin. It was so delicious and had amazing hints of pecan/walnut, orange and of course cranberries. This is a busy spot. During peak hours may not be the quietest to study but there is plenty of seating upstairs. No bathrooms in shop but in a building connected to it. We will definitely come back!
They say great things come in small packages....well, this little shop definitely lives up to that!
It is small inside but there is a good bit of seating in the area beside the shop.
Now the best part! The coffee!
There are plenty of choices to choose from.
I had the tres leches. I don't like strong coffee, and this was just right, I had them add honey to it as well, perfect!
My girlfriend had the Methodical ( I think that's what it was called) there were a lot of ingredients in this drink. It has citrus, floral, coffee flavors going on. Different but in a good way.
We'll definitely be back!
The hot chocolate was unlike anywhere else, it has a rich unique flavor. The line was backed up all the way, but it took 5mins to get to the front. The first story has a lot of very good seating. The second story has a nice atmosphere for studying. It has a very welcoming vibe. Here is a hot chocolate and a hot mocha in photos.
Pretty good coffee spot! I wouldn’t say that it’s in my top favorites but it’s definitely a good option for coffee in SC. It reminds me a lot of PNW style coffee shops, has kind of a hipster vibe to it. (in my opinion) I also tried the matcha and it was pretty good. Overall worth checking this place out!
Went there twice yesterday because they are so good. Staff remember our name the 2nd time we went!! That was awesome!!
Overall great coffee. They measure everything. Highly recommend if in the area!
Their pastries were great as well!
Stopped at Methodical Coffee on a quick visit to Greenville a couple months ago and I’m so glad we did! Their downtown location is in a beautiful space with some seating upstairs and a nice view outside. We ordered an iced oat milk latte and something called the Bermuda Triangle which had Mango Chainsaw Liquid Death (sparkling water), coconut syrup and espresso. We only ordered drinks, but both were fantastic! Also have to give a little shout-out to whoever put the American Football record on the day we came in ☺️
I regret not getting a photo on either of my visits but I was completely enthralled with savoring my drink over an enjoyable conversation. The coffee shop is beautiful and the employees are very nice. I enjoyed sitting on the second floor and both times I’ve felt I could freely talk because it’s rather private.
Okay, heard this place was a great cup of coffee but that was an understatement. Excellent roast, beautiful and complex flavor. But more importantly, Parker was willing to entertain my questions about tasting notes and even indulge me in a side by side comparison. Above and beyond service, and added some local recommendations for food and drink on top of it. All class, knowledgeable and friendly.
